i got a real ticket for front tints and it is a ticket were you can pay the fine and it goes on your record or you can do traffic safety school or go to court what should i do if i pay it straight up and let it go on my record will my insurance go up its bullshit i shouldent take traffic safety school for ****n tints cops are such ****** he should of just gave me a ticket to pay at the police station i also got pulled over in illinois in mt prospect what should i do and i dont want to take the tints of, they are illegal here but i want them on help me please

a4turboss: Is it considered a moving violation? Usually non moving violations don't get reported to insurance companies. I'd say that if it's considered a moving violation do the traffic school. It may cost you time but if it were to go to your insurance company it would cost you more than that in the long run.

a4turboss: Best thing to do is call the local police department that issued you the ticket(and without saying your name or the situation) ask if it is a moving violation. It may also be considered a 'fix it' ticket, meaning, take the tint off the front(remember folks, it's illegal in most places) and they get rid of the ticket.
