When i clean or work on my car i usually play loud music and when ppl walk by I can see them stop and look, Is there a law saying how loud I can play music on my driveway?

If it is a public annoyance and someone complains I'm sure a cop would ask you to turn it to a reasonable level. It depends on personal taste and tolerance I guess.

well, u would prob get stuck with a warning.. which happened to me once. Really, you can make noise to a level between 8am and 11pm. What the level is, I dont know..

I was wondering because i listen to like heavy metal and sometimes rap, and i can see like ppl with like a discussed face but my neightbour plays country and classic louder then me and they dont care,

if your playing music with disturbing language/lyrics, then i would say the chances of getting a ticket is much higher rather than playing classical/country. im sure my neighborhood wouldnt like it if i played lil jon's album when i detail my car.


research on local laws as every state is diff. in cali, its no "noise disturbance" cannot be heard within 50 feet of range within 8am-9pm? that includes construction work, working with power tools, hammering, music, parade, etc.
