Speeding Ticket !HELP!
Hello,
I am in the state of California and I just got a speeding ticket for 56 in a 35. The officer marked the date of violation as x-x-05 and he also didn't mark whether he got me from Laser or Radar. 56 is a very precise number and I'm wondering if I can contest this ticket and win it. If I don't contest the ticket, pay the fine and also take traffic school then will the ticket be reported to my insurance company? Please help me. Thank you.

If you attend a traffic school typically you just pay for that plus court costs. Its the same as pleading guilty, just make sure that if you complete the course that it will be removed from your record. If its removed from your motor vehicle report, its illegal for you insurance company to charge you for it, even if they do find out. 56 in a 35 is a pretty big ticket, so i wouldnt hold my breath when it comes to contesting it. Your best bet is to try to take the course, that way it wont show up on your record. Your insurance company will only run for MVR at your renewal anyway, accidents and tickets dont affect your premium within a policy period.

Well, I live in Ontario Canada and I’m pretty sure that I picked the wrong night to race a truck. Going 112 in a 50, I’m going to court on the 24th, what do you guys think I should expect to happen and is there anything I can do before I go to court to make myself look better?
^that sucks. in most states traffic fines double in construction zones. they also say "if you dont know what the posted limit is, assume its 25" which seems like something that would only apply to residential areas. find out where the speed limit sign was, you might be able to fight it.
