cali fastrak........

there systme made a boo boo last night for me. well i was going up 780 towards sac/vallejo i-80 and this stupid benz went into the fastrak lane and decided to get out of it so, i had the transponer on my dash and when i swerved around the benz it fell off my dash(i did not have it secured on my dash since we got this from my friends car) and so i grabbed the transponder and held it with my hands as we rollled throug hthe sensors. but the thing is i didnt hear a beep come out of it cuz my subs were blasting in the background. so my question here is......is the fine for the fastrak violation $25 or $100? and is it a moving violation ticket? will it go on record as a point? and also is there a way i could fight it even tho the fastrak isnt registered to my car? thanks much help appreciated.

if you do get a ticket from that, you can fight it and have whoever owns the account call and say you let them use it, have them put your license plate on file so you won't have to worry about it next time...happened to me twice and they dropped the $

im not sure about the moving violation, but as far as going on your license or record it didn't on mine. when we got the ticket there was a thing on disputing it and i went online and did that. then i believe there is a number the owner of the fastrack has to call to clear it up..make sure to give your friend your license plate # when they do. it took a couple of weeks for us to see a ticket about it but it came.
