What does it mean by "oversized vehicles"?
well i have this parking garage i park in, its at my school, i pay to park there and theres an area i park at where it says, oversized vehicles only because its the first floor. first floor consists of oversized vehicle parking and handicapped. inorder to get in u need a special pass and card and etc etc, cameras and all that security stuff. well i have a full kitted car and its very low, so low i cant get over the speed bump in the middle of the road that takes u to the second floor because it is so steep a dip after u go over the hump it scratches up my car and the side skirt and what not.
well would u have the right to park in the oversized vehicle parking spots considering u technically not able to get to teh second floor and park cuz its too low. no where does it say van and truck parking only. says "oversized vehicle parking" they do have a seperate entrance they are opening soon i hope to take u straight to the second floor but its not open right now. u can get in the entrance but i cant get back out.
does the parking garage have to make it capable for any car to park in? needless to say what car u drive, like it has parking for handicapped, or for cars to high to go in the garage, but does it have to have a spot for cars that are too low. dont u have to make it accessible to everyone. isn't that like descriminating against cars that are too low, like how u have to have ur business accessible to handicap or disabled people, now u have to have ur garage accessible to lowered cars? or do they not and i just have to raise my damn car? lol do u have a case to park on the first floor cuz u cant park anywhere else? j/w considering i pay for a parking pass to park there and what not.
let me kno what u think?
btw... i parked there for probably a whole yr since its been opened and i just ran into a problem a few weeks ago about getting a ticket cuz i was parked there but i explained to the cop and the borough and got it written off.

cars should be able to park there obviously if there is a condition like yours. But generally oversized means for suv, trucks. Cars aren't considered oversized.
Crack kills... But then again... So do I...

No. They do not need to accomodate a modified vehicle. They're argument could easily be "If you were stock you could drive right up but since you chose to modify your car, you choose to take the risk of scratching up your car." Be careful because unless stated otherwise they could ticket or tow you as a result of parking where you are not supposed to.
i would raise the car back up if you keep having problems. oversized vehicles usually mean those large trucks/suvs/diesels/etc.
a car (your civic) is considered "compact". you can recieve a violation for parking in an "oversized vehicles" section. i guess it really depends how desperate the citing officer is. i would talk to whomever runs the place or if theirs an officer(s) that you could chat with for special requests?
but i would just raise the car back up... doesnt seem like its worth fcukin up your kit/car for just parking at the same area everyday imo
