I was speeding on 280, 95 maybe 100 in Santa Clara County. CHP got me. I know he paced me because the cop said I was going 95 for a while but then reached 100. (probabaly due to the hill) I am a minor and it is my first offense. What should I do? What is going to happen? Any chance for traffic school? I know I screwed up and I learned my lesson.

i got caught on 280 also, a few months ago. 95 in 65 around the san mateo area.
manditory court appearance. not eligible for traffic school. theres obviously a fine (dont kno how much....)
i got a lawyer tho, and she went to my court appearances for me, got me traffic school. and the fine down from 400 to 110.
not shure what the difference is for minors. if u can afford a lawyer go for it. or if u think u can plead the case and draw pity from the judge. just show up and explain that your really sorry and u know you screwed up.

well my lawyer did everything for me. i wasnt really apart of it. lol (even tho i got the ticket.)
i think she plead not guilty. the thing is that even thought i was caught speeding. lawyers know what is tangible and what is not tangible as evidence. for example,
you can argue that the sensor used to clock u, wasnt accurate. or wasnt operated properly. etc. theres tons of things u can bring up to make things not as clean. once u can do that, it is no longer without a reasonable doubt.
sorry i cant help u more on telling how i did it, or the details. cuz i have no idea how she did it. she went 2 court for me, called me bak later that day and said she got me trafficschool, and a small fine to pay.

(650)615-0117 or (415)392-1611
421 Grand Avenue, Suit A

she charged me 175 for the speeding ticket, and 150 for a u-turn ticket i got. she got me off of both of them. didnt have to pay or do nething on the u-turn ticket either. even tho i was clearly guilty. lol
