cleared headlights legal??

Are cleared headlights legal? I am about to clear mine, and have wanted to for a while, just don't know about the law on em, I am in South Carolina.
Is anybody ever stopped for no amber??
Thanks.

the law here is that you have to have an amber reflector on the front.. red in the back.. you can roll a clear bulb.. the reflector does not have to be in the headlight/taillight..
i carry 2 stick on amber reflectors ($2 at autozone) for if i get pulled over..

you can get amber bulbs through http://www.cardomain.com/ use the fit guide at the top to get sizes that fit

Must have amber signal and orange reflector. Stock bulbs are white (yellowish when lit), they have aftermarket orange bulbs, or you can get LEDs like me. Cops don't care about reflector much.
