Hey you know those moveable signs that say the speed limit and when u go by post yours and flash colors when u go to fast. Do the do anything or can u go by as fast as you want just to see ur speed?

are you talking about those little signs that clock your speed? we got those and i just speed to see my speed lol....but it doesn't track you to give you a ticket.

one time when i was up at lake county they had one but some cop was hiding on a side street with a good veiw of the sign good thing i keep it legal that day after that i will never speed past those signs again

Generally, they use those to calculate the average speed of people driving on that road. They do this so they can determine if they need to put a stop light or stop sign at a nearby intersection, or simply to up police patrol in that area. Of course it could be there for any number of reasons, but that is usually why.

in new jersey, they take a pic of your plate and send you a ticket if you are speeding...fyi

no tickets so far in tx. however; i have seen on numerous times cops will hide behind and nab you with their radar.
