Warranty

Does any one know if a car has a salvage title if it can still have a warranty?

No the warranty ends as soon as the car is salvaged. Marked title = no warranty.

but how would the dealership know it's a stamped title they don't ask to see your title for warranty work do they?

They look it up through your VIN#.

that is imposible vin's dont bring up titles just like carfax dosnt show if your car has acually been in an accident. i work at a body shop i know this.

When you (or more likely the insurance company) applies for a salvaged title, the VIN number of the vehicle is noted and comes up when accessed. So yes, they can look up to see if the title is marked through the VIN number.

in every computer system that we have at work you cannot see anything 'bout the title. thats all i know. how do you know so much bout this? how would the insurance companys info show up at the dealership? i don't understand
