Ticket deferral
Well, a couple weeks ago my girlfriend got a speeding ticket for going 84 in a 70. Anyhow, she is planning on deferring the ticket and I was wondering whether or not the insurance will know about the ticket if she defers it. Does any other state have a ticket deferral? I'm in Washington State. Thanks in advance to anyone that can answer my questions.

Well in court, if your court offers it, you can ask for deferred adjudication. That is basically where you get placed on drving probation for however many months the court says, usually 3-6 months, and during that time, you cant get any tickets. And after you complete the probation, the ticket is dismissed. You will though have to pay either the court cost and some of the fine, or half of the fine only, I cant remember. Your insurance company will never know.
We have it here, and I have been on it before. It is a good idea. Just tell her not to get any tickets while on the probation.
