Sometimes what there excuse is on that is they will tell you that they didnt lock the speed in the radar detector, which I think is bullshit. They technically dont have to show you, some will though. Honestly though, you even said you were caught going 33 over, so even if it wasnt 33 over, anything over 1 MPH is speeding , but most only pull over if going 10 over. So I think your best bet would be get a lawyer and try and get it reduced or just pay it.
