regional transit?
long story short, i sort of blocked an intersection, but the guy behind me did it worse, but some regional transit officer pulls up next to me and says, "
You know that's a ticket next time, you're not supposed to blah blah"
we get to a red light and we start talking back and forth, and then he says just not to do it anymore, so i just said thank you and he left...
yeah i know i'm not supposed to enter the intersection if i can't clear it by the time it turns red, but i was just wondering if those officers are allowed to give tickets out for traffice violations.

your in california so i have no idea...but
just be glad you didnt get one. even if he cant give you one he can detain you until an officer gets there to write the citation. no matter what his title is he is still considered an officer of the law.
