Forget to complete ticket
I got pulled over last night going 40 over got let off of that, but he gave me a ticket for not having my insurance papers. He forgot to put the year of my car, well he put it on the side of the ticket can I get this thrown out for being incomplete/unprofessional. I may just pay it but the cop was an a$$ and wouldn't mind seeing him waste his time.
He told me my projectors are illegal and I asked whats illegal the whole assembly or the bulbs he flashes his light on it and goes I don't know they just are b/c they're after market.

I guess you can get it thrown out but I don't really know the finer points of that rule. $35 isn't worth alot of hassle though so if it becomes a pain in the *** I would say just pay it.
Regarding the fail to surrender insurance card ticket.....from the time the officer asked you for you insurance card, and the time he issued you the ticket, how much time elapsed?
I ask this because a good defence is that the officer did not provide you with a reasonable amount of time to produce the insurance card.
I would suggest you set a trial. I always suggest that! Set a trial and if the officer does not show, its thrown out. If he shows, argue the point I made, and raise the issue of how poorly the ticket was written. I would think that he made those errors because he was in a hurry, and therefore really gave you no reasonable amount of time to produce the insurance card.
I should have been a lawyer. Naw, chicks love the uniform!

how'd you get out of that one. actually yes, they make note of what they let you off for.
my buddy went to court recently, just 2 months ago and the cop on the ticket he had a 2003 when he has a 93, and he told someone in the court that he was gonna tell this to the judge to get let off for it. then the cop came to him and told him he heard abt my friends' plan of using that as a reason to get out of the ticket... then the cop pulled out his ****ing notepad and said if you try to get it thrown out, ill tell the judge i made a note of letting you get off easy and tell him you were doing 40 over as opposed to the 10 i wrote on the ticket. so my buddy kept his mouth shut!
id just pay it, better to pay money then get points and have to pay.

i cant speak for ontario, but in SK the cops are required by law to give u 72 hours to present your papers, (but I also know that in AB they give you 0 hours).

dam in alberta even if the cop doesnt show you can still be guilty now, onyl good thing is you almost always get no demerits if you show which is better than not paying the ticket, a lousy 40 bucks or a cpl demerits? hmm not a tough one ill pay the 40 instead
i am very good friends with a few lawyers and i asked them about your issue. you wont get out of the ticket unless he forgot your name or your lisence plate number. so thats settled as far as the lights go. did he issue you a ticket for those because if he did all you have to do is show the court the sae,dot stamp on the light. if your tyc lights dont have this your ****ed
