Warning tickets

i was just issued a warning ticket for a traffic violation in NY.. it says it will be kept on record but is not required for a court appearance... my question is, will a warning ticket increase my insurance?

I don't think they usually do, but it probably changes from state to state. I think the biggest reason they have them is so if you get pulled over again, there's a record of it and you'll probably get a ticket - kind of a way to track freebies.

A lot of agencies recently started issuing written warnings for the reason stated above. A lot of people were getting pulled over and let go with verbal warnings numerous times...the new way keeps track of the warnings given by that one agency.

Andm like before, it wont effect your insurance because the Dept of Motor Vehicles never gets notice of it
