Ok, here is my situation, I was givin probation for 2 yrs. for harboring a runaway, now I have been on it for 11 months now and I have completed everything, and 3 weeks ago I paid $515 to the probation to pay off my fine and catch me up on my probation fees, now all I would have to pay would be a monthly fee of $50 that they require as long as your on probation, and after that I turned in a form called Motion for discharge from community supervision and dismissal of cause to the court so I could get off probation. When I turned that in the court told me they would email my probation officer so she could turn my paper work into the court. Now 3 weeks later, she still hasnt done that. I have called the court several times and they said they havent heard anything from her, and when I called the P.O. about 2 weeks ago, she said she has been busy and hasnt gotten around to do it, and was going to turn it in, in about 2 days from then, but hasnt. Now tomorrow I am scheduled to go see her for my monthly report, and I am supposed to pay $50, now here is what I need to know from you all, should I have to pay her the $50 because I have already paid everything I need to and even put in a motion form, but she has done nothing to get my paper work to the court. My mom says I shouldnt pay her anything because of me turning in the form, and I agree with her, what do you all think I should do?

just pay the 50 man so that in the long run nothing will back fire and so they they can't say you Didn't pay the 50 dollars man!! just apy it this time though seriously!

just pay it then ask to speak to her supervisor about her lacking in getting your probation items caught up since you have been IMO superb on your probation.

well this morning when I went to see her she told me that my paper work was now at the court, but that I still had to pay the $50 and still make a date to see her next month incase they didnt let me off probation, I think it is all crap but hopefully I will get off.
