prolly about 125-150 bucks if you plead guilty and leave it on your record. Ask for traffic school since its your first offense.

if i were to go to traffic school, only DMV will know correct?
cuz i dont want my insurance company to boost my pricing for coverage mostly wen im under my mothers name. i dont have to plead guilty or anythin, officer says i juss need to pay off that ticket and ask togo to traffic school so it'll be off my record. so nothin with guiltyness.

WD40 is an unknown quantity at this point
If you go to traffic school, your citation is still on record with the court, but the court never notifies the DMV of the conviction and therefore you don't get the point on your record. DMV records are what insurance companies look at.

its only 10mph. Not a very serious offense. Just call a lawyer and see if you can get some guidance.
