hopefully, because i know that is going to be a chunk of change out of my wallet + i believe points will stay on my record for quite some time, not sure how long
Wow, going 40mph over the speed limit here in WI, would get you a $800+ fine, 15 day suspension, mandatory court appearance, 6 points.. but if you double the speed limit, it's all that and jail time..bummer lol I got a ticket for going 81mph in a 45mph zone and that was $535.... I still miss that cash I could of had

i havent recieved my court date yet, but i figured i would do as much research as i could so when i get in front of the judge i will have all my info straight, because that will be the determining factor, some judges are strict while others are more relaxed when it comes to that kinda thing, hopefully i get a more relaxed judge!
FOril, if this is your first offence, deff. take it to court, just let them know you are aware of what happened and that you are willing to do what ever it takes to change these charges, alota times you can do community service or just like ol injencivic said, tell them you can take a driving school, now the thing with that, the school my be up to $300 dollars or more, but if it kills the ticket , its all worth it, because it also will help with your insurance?????
thats what happened with me, i got a ticket for doing 18 over in a school ZONE and i just did some community service and then knocked it off for me, but that was just me and i got real luck, and it to was my first offence, GOOD LUCK Man.

would pleading no-lo do him anygood? i have never pleaded that, so i don't know??? i do have a new court date as of today though. i pleaded not guilty in my case... so now i get to go to court and fight it.
Get a good attorney..with any hope you can get your offense knocked down to a violation and if only a couple points if any. Just show that you want a legal Aid Attorney, this way you wont have to pay any money and still get representation.
