hehe I miss Ottawa crew.. since I dont drive anymore (no insurance) it's bit hard for me to hit Ott for a weekend, but plannin on goin back this winter after my school's done.

there are 2 drive in near Ottawa. Tempelton and Port Elmsley. Tempelton is near Amigos and Port Elmsley is about 1 1/2 hours away. We have been to both and we go to the Port Elmsley one more casue it is sooo much better. It is alot cheaper aswell. It's like $8 each or sometimes they have like $10 a car load. There are usually 2 movies but on long week-ends there are 3. Food is also pretty cheap. Lots of fun....

$8 for the movie(s) + $10 in gas each way ($20) ... I'd rather stay in town and pay the $10 here. No offence drive in's are cool, but that is simply too far.

Drive in $8 + $10 + $10 = $28 + food
Theatre $10 + regular gas in town = $15 max

That is a skewed rationale unless in the least you add + food to your in-town pricing.

As well, if there is a rate for 10$ per car load, and you are 3+ - the pricing gets more lopsided; (assuming only one car used in either case)

10$ + 20$ gas + food versus 30$ + 5$ gas + food
