did someone get powdercoating done a little while ago?
did Julian look into this? I can't remember IF someone got some powdercoating done, but I'm looking to get my bike wheels powdercoated...just curious how much it would cost.
Some peeps say $200, but that's just homo. i'd spend 100 tops for both wheels.
oh...i got a new rear wheel for my bike, hence the question. i'm gonna throw down a fatty rear tire (180) instead of my 160.

Rep Power: 291 Sweet bike's gonna be even more pimp this summer? Do you have any plans for the car?
If your looking into powder coating, I mentioned this place before. Absolute Powder on Michael St. (It's in the East end.) This place used to be Pearl Autocare, owned by Gord and Joe. I'm not too fond of either of them, but it's still al place you can call for prices.

Rep Power: 268 I checked out Pearl. I think the one eric is talking about. They were to busy to answer any of my questions. They were also just getting the powder coating business up and running. Julian had mentioned something about some boat place that does it. I'll ask him

Rep Power: 0 That was last spring. I am still interested, if the price is right. I think most places have a minimum charge of like 85-95 bucks or something.
There is a thread about this on redliners.ca right now as well.
Let me know if you find anything.

Powder coating
The place in the west end is in stittsville. Its 185 Iber Rd. Its in the same building as Autotrendz and a rim repair shop. Talk to Highland at the rim repair shop he knows the ins and outs of repair and also does an amazing job. The quote OPC(ottawa powder coating) gave me was around 65$ a rim one year ago with a gunmetal color. Pretty reasonable in my opinion.
