where to start?
last night on the way home from work, I got SMOKED by another car.
He cut me off and slammed me into the median on the 417. My airbag went off, which caused my seat to collapse backwards, so i was keeping myself upright using the muscles in my lower back...big mistake. My back is in so much pain
So after the airbag went off and we bounced off the wall, both cars spun 720, across four lanes of traffic (I can't believe we didn't get hit by other cars), and then ended up in the snowbank on the right side of the highway.
All of this happened at about 6:20pm last night, eastbound on the 417, between pinecrest and woodroffe.
I checked out my car today, and the entire front of the car is fukked. It crumpled inward, pushing the rad into the cam covers, wrecking the engine (not totally, but not worth fixing). The suspension got p0wn3d huge in the front, and the wheels were bent in, and both wheels were scraped up pretty good (flat tires).
I lucked out huge, man! Good thing is that I'm fine...the bad thing is that I don't have a car anymore.
I'll be searching for another beater this weekend, unless ted will sell me his car for cheap
hope everyone is doing better than me this winter season

Rep Power: 291 If anyone is curious...I didn't get any pics.
My car is parked (for today at least) at Bemac autobody. It's being towed to the wreckers within the next couple days.
So...no pics.
P0Wn3D!

Rep Power: 291 not sure what my route will be for another car, but i'm definitely glad it's the only thing that got killed!
***...another close call.
I'm not sure what's in store for me, but I think I'll try to limit my budget to $500 a month for both car payment and insurance. emphasis on the try

Rep Power: 0 So whats the deal with the po po's ... is he getting charged with anything ? Is he the one at fault etc ...
I say, use that $3-$4g's on that new bike you have saved up for a deposit on a new 06 Si. Then the payments + insurance will be under 5 bills for sure.

Rep Power: 291 yeah, I was by myself luckily.
I was more angry than anything. I reached for my chain as soon as we came to a stop, but my back was so sore that I couldn't get it. then i realized i'd be too sore to kick his ***, even though he was short and skinny. hehehe
I think I'm going to get a cheap beater for my next car (again).
But....it's going to be huge and comfortable. There's at least three ex police cars on the autotrader, so i'm going to check them out this weekend. They're either ex-OPP (impala), or ex-Ottawa police (Ford Police Intercepter).
I'm going to have to keep my bike. Which is ok...because I got convinced by some other SV owners that I should keep it, and pimp the suspension a bit more. so that's what I have in store for the bike.
