Post List of things to do before I sell her

Last night at Wing Nite I mentioned to Jim that I need to make a damn list of things to do on the Civic before I put it up for sale in September.

I have to replace the A Pillar. Unfortunately the one I got from Andrew was broken and won't fasten in place. It's only an $11 part so I just got a new one....picking it up today.

Replace the Cable Reel on the steering wheel. For those of you who don't know what that is....it's a wiring harness on a swivel and it's the reason that my horn and cruise aren't working. Back when I got the SiR wheel, Pete cut the damn wires thinking he could splice it and since then nothing has worked..lol

Put the mud flaps back on.....yeah why not, I have 'em so I might as well.

Take the stickers off it.

Take the 2 sided tape off finally..lol.

Put on the honda hubcaps I got from Jim last night.

QUESTION...

Should I raise the car back up on it's OEM coils? that would require an allignment too which kinda sucks but I think it might help me sell it. What do you guys think?

anyway..that's all I can think of for now. Gonna be busy that's for sure.

Marc dude, not everyone hears knocking noises from their springs. Only you and me

Mike I'm sure you could sell it lowered, I doubt it would really make any difference in the selling price

I think that raised back up would make it more attractive to more people. I had a thread going elsewhere and the comments were helpful.

it's true that lowered cars mean that they were probably driven hard and carelessly. I have to make it look as natural as possible and erase any evidence of modding.

ok..so I got the A Pillar replaced today.

get this...to do the cable reel it'll be 1.5 hours at $85 per and the part is $280 + tax. I would do it myself but apparantly getting it off is damn hard..in fact they say you usually have to break it to do it.

There's no way Honda is doing my coils either....they're tellin me $500 for the work...HAHAHAHAHAHA..whatever. I'll take it to Frisby and get Matt to do it.

bingo.

People will also assume that you drove it lowered in the winter, which means there's a higher chance of rust developing underneath.

Bring it back to stock as much as possible.

...and don't mention this thread to any buyers

WhiteHalf is an unknown quantity at this point
I say raise it ..
it adds thousands more to your potential buying pool. And to chip in with some of the $ spent on the raising/alignment ... sell the springs.
