Surreal times in Ottawa
Basically fully digested the day spent in Ottawa, and would like give my thanks.
Erik, thanks for being the middle man basically. Hopefully I didn't put too much of a downer on your trip to TO when we talked in the morning as well.
Caryn, thanks for stopping and keeping me slight company on the side of the road. Hopefully you didn't get eaten alive as much as I did (silly mosquitos). Header might not look the prettiest but at least its a lot less noisy and vibration free as compared to what came off. Probably could have cleaned it up and painted it, but
I rarely look under the hood anyways.
Have to apologize to Freddy, I basically made his car wait another day as Spaz spent the day getting me back up and running.
Great group of guys at Spaz, mainly not the best at keeping hours
but seem to be a good set of people.
Pierre, next time if **** like that ever happens I'll be glad I know your phone number. Honestly, after my long walk, the car was more than enough comfort for me - but I appreciate the hospitality offer again (just as I did Caryn's). Sorry I didn't stick around for supper, etc but I was tired - especially on that drive back.
Hopefully next trip up is a bit more enjoyable, glad to hear once again that Ottawa has so much love to give
PS: Landin, was nice seeing your buddy - small car world of ours
I believe it was Mitch (or something very similar, sorry was tired and basically not taking everything in completely
) Though for sure his MR2 will be a quick go-getter when he's all said and done with it.

Karim, no worries dude! I'm just happy I still had my cell phone on. You didin't have to worry about my plans for the weekend, you did not ruin them, I let everyone know what happened on the 2-way. The ony person that was a little confused I think was Freddy, when I told him that he mentioned your car. He had no clue why you would have done that
Now we know. Hopefully everything works out for you with the car. Bust since you have a new tranny (relatively) than TAKE CARE OF IT!

always a pleasure helping a friend out!
