hmm i was gonna say 35's cuz i love low low profile on a big wheel, and ur car is low, so no need for extra sidewall...but jim also made a good point....hmmmm

I dont think there's much difference between those two.
I say go with 40 too. dont think you have to roll the fenders or anything on your height unless you are getting camberkit installed.
.. but if you like how 35 looks but worried about bending rims, dont think you have to worry. I hitted alot of potholes but nothing happened. and yesterday in accident guy ran into my rear tires but I dont think it hurted by rims but bent the axel.
cornerings are good on 35s.
I suggest you to get a better breaks if your rims are heavy. cause I had hard time stopping like yesterday.
