Some guy approached me today and asked me if I ever watched the UFC. As some you know, I am a HUGE fan of UFC, UCC and K1 fighting so I said hell yeah! why?. He told me there is a training gym called Ronin on Carling Ave. and they specialize in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and tactical ground submissions and techniques. He gave me a flyer and he told me it's not ment to make a person a fighter (unless you want to be) it's mainly justto learn and have a good cardio workout. I'm thinking I can just do this to learn abit more about it and get fit too. I don't plan of fighting because I'm not that type of guy...but i would definetly be interested in getting fit and learning all the kick *** techniques.

I took karete for like 4 years and loved it the problem with me is that I work nights and most classes are at night and I just dont have time for it at all right now but it is something I have thought about

I've been wanting to do this kind of thing for a long time.. I wanted to do Mauy Thai, but the only school in Ottawa is downtown (Bob Carver's Thai Boxing academy), and it wasn't really agreeing with my schedule. But this school you posted is a lot closer to my house, and I think I'm gonna do it. I'll take a look at their website, but I have a feeling I'll be doing that once school is over.

It's a wicked work out and if you really do want to get seriously into it then they will train you till you're a machine. I've been a fan of UFC since Shamrock and Gracie faught...UFC 5?...I think?
