President Bush's visit

Tomorrow is gonna be crazy, exp for all of us who go to work/school downtown...........im thinking of taking the day off to check out the action downtown.........

it would be cool to head down near the airport side roads to watch air force 1 come in..........but i highly doubt there will be any access into anywhere near the airport.......

Ya...that would be fun...

I'm wondering if he'll even bring Air Force one into Ottawa. They like to keep it sheltered when it's on the ground and there isn't a hanger big enough at Ottawa International for it to sit in. I'm wondering if he'll hit Montreal or Toronto and take his helicopter...meh..we'll see.

The security downtown is going to be so stupid that if I worked down there I would probably take the day off just to avoid it. You won't be able to drive anywhere near the US Embassy either I bet...

i heard on the news that he is indeed flying in on airforce 1, they are going to be sticking it beside a hanger not in it, because yes, there are no hangers big enough for the 747 at the airport..........his helicopter is already in ottawa, but he is taking the limo downtown..........

man the police escort would be an awesome sight.........maybe i would be better off catching it on cbc or something!

Yup...they'll be shutting down all the roads around the airport and then going down the airport parkway most likely.

He normally has a C5 Galaxy Transport to carry his Limo's and **** with him..guessing that already showed up?

i have to go get my passport done tomorrow. i'm gonna go to the gatineau office though. hopefully the island park bridge won't be too crazy. i'm gonna stay away from the stupid downtown bridges. that's just gonna be messy.

there's gonna be lots of demonstrations too. can't wait to see the aftermath of that on TV. apparently a big group of people are gonna try to tear down a statue, just like they did in iraq (of suddam). that should be interesting to see how that plays out.

i doubt any canadian pussies will do anything, but it'll be fun to watch on tv

Funny thing is that the people who do that **** are seldom ever Canadian...lol. Just people of other nationalities living in Canada...and alot of the time they're American's who come over to demonstrate.

For your passport you should definately hit up the Place du Portage building in Hull but that bridge is really close to the hill so who knows... take the parkway all the way over and hope for the best?
