As you all know the 8th Generation is coming out soon and many people are actually waiting for it to come out to purchase one.. That means that this site will actually fade away in a while.. Think of it, in 2001 the birth of this site came to life and with the 05 which I have its actually the ending of it...
Just look at the numbers in the members area a ton of people own 01's then fewer and fewer own the newer models... If this site was called CIVIC for all gens then it would go on and on welcoming the new models that come along ...but its not called that its called 7thgen Civic which actually sounds kool to me.... and is basically reserved only for those with 7th gen Civics with the exeption of an Alero lollllll (Sparky) WTF??? Alot of friends have been made on this forum which I think is kool but in a while the 7th gen will be a memory like the old school civics that are hardly mentioned at all.. Damn I miss the 89-90 Civic Si man that was pure fun that car... I hope you have an idea of what I mean and how I feel.. Think of it the 8th Gen will bring on new forums new friends and people will have a ton of questions on how to modify it what works and what doesn't work.... I think Freddy and a few others know so much about every little detail of the 7th Gen its crazy.

I wonder who will create the new 8thGenCivic forum..its gonna be kool to see it grow into what this site has become...A REAL COMMUNITY....

with the coming of the 8thgen is a new era, but i predict, that this site will turn into a haven for the civic owners. The new civics will be brand new, with no one knowing anything about them, and considering we r the newest site after them, they will come here first, but eventually span on there own. Just like how Derek and those people ( the owner) started on clubsi.com (i think) and then spanned to this site. the fact that derek also owns the name 8thgencivic.com doesnt mean much because there r a million other names out there, plus he is sick of running this site so i doubt he will open a new one.

But considering me have an alero, mike and freddy both wont have civics, and we have a laser too, means that we too ( the ottawa crew) should let the owners of the 8thgens join us, and not let a number come in the way

well whatever cause this site is great and saved me alot of time and you guys have helped alot and even though i won't drive anything but a honda i would always keep an eye on this site

I bet 7thgen will still be alive and well for the years to the come. By the time this forum dies out if it ever does, we'll all have hopefully moved on to new cars and new things.

This forum has definitely been helpful to me and a way to meet some new people who are into their civics. Ye 7thgen...

this is the first year that the 7thgens are really gonna start comin off lease and soon a different group are gonna start snappin 'em up and modding them.

I Was a member on a site called Camryman.org the passing lane
It welcomed all generation Camry's including the Camry Solara which i thought was pretty kool...It would be kool if this site was modified to accomodate all generations. Lets say you have a 5th gen then you go to the 5th gen section in that forum and chat away and the 7th gen would not be touched it would be here as it is now.hmmm I wonder how complicated that would be...

I have a friend who wants to sell me his 1977 Civic in mint condition with everything original and no rust at all.. i would love to buy it and put a Turbo in it LOLLLLLL
