Help!

I was driving down St laurent today when all of a sudden I hurd something under my car pop. After the popping noise it sounded like my car was dragging something under it. The noise was gone after 5 minutes of driving but then whenever I stopped at the lights it continued!...I dunno what to do

did it sound like metal draggin?

hrrmmm ... ... only think I can think of would be a weld gone bad on the exhaust... but seeing as how we watched Dan do the work... I dunno.

If Landin's not too busy we MAY be able to bother him on Sunday... But I know Jim offered (when I asked to take a look at my spring next wekeend. maybe he wouldn't mind checking out your car?

sure did...I saw nothing...the noise is comming out of the right front side of my car but the weird thing is...the sound is gone now !? I dont think it's my exhaust because it seemed intact when I checked it out...maybe if I put it on a hoist I'll be able to see what's going on.

WhiteHalf is an unknown quantity at this point
Hmm Saturday .. it was raining ... did the sound happen after you went through a big puddle ???
I know there was a TSB on the original '00 and '01 models for the factory B pipe, when suddenly cooled by a puddle of water, condensing and tapping against another part/frame of the car. The tapping making a whacky loud vibrating noise from under the car ... but soon after the rapid cooling stopped and the exhaust heated up again, the sound would stop.

I know you have a custom exhaust ... but could it be a similar situation ???

Wish I had a link to that TSB .. but I cant find it ...
