Another person who got a ticket
Well guys, Abes not the only one who ran into some police action. I caught clocked at 115 in an 80 zone on some deserted road on the way to my house, dropped to 105 and 2 points, better than losing 3 points i guess. It doesn't help when you've only got one to start off with. So when I pay this ticket I will have my license suspended
it was a good summer guys, I probably wont be able to make it to any more meets.

how much time left until you get your full license?
cause if it's a few month, fight it and try to stretch it out as much as you can. And if you get your full license by then you won't get it suspended cause you'll have 15 points instead of 4.
Even if it is in a while, fight it nonetheless... worst case, you can plead non guilty and hope the judge takes it easy on you... or you can plead guilty with explanation, to which you just tell him that you're a student and you need your to go to school cause there are no busses that pass by in your area. To this he might let you off easy, but he'd tell you that next time you won't be so lucky...

maybe i will fight it, how would i go about fighting it? I got out of my car and looked at his gun, he got me fair and square at 112kmph, It's not like I can go say I'm not guility because i dont want to lose my license? or could i do that?
You can try to plead guilty with a reason. Plead guilty knowing that you did wrong but say that you need your car to get to and from school everyday cause you live in the boons. Maybe they will still make you pay somewhat of a ticket but not loose that many points.

I'm also worried about court charges, i can sort of afford the ticket its only 125$, but throw on an extra 50~100$ for whatever the court is and thats gas for another week gone :S. anyone know about court charges?

Step 2) Day before, send in ticket with not guilty plea and some reason (making it sound plausible)..
Step 3) Wait for announcement of court date ..
Step 4) Wait until near that day and try to get a postponement..
Step 5) Repeat step 4 as needed
Of course you'll more than likely need valid reasons for the postponing of your court dates.. but with a little creativity you can get some reasons

but this is going the route of not wanting to lose your license and waiting for your full license before agreeing that you were guilty - then forcing the points on your license.
Court costs vary .. Skiboard might have an idea - being in one recently.. he should have gotten a letter stating the costs if he was still found guilty. I know I paid like $25 more on a stop-sign ticket that I lost trying to fight - even though I know I made that stop (others I won't agree with.. but that one I did damnit)

me too, it seems like at the moment the nothing is going right for me in my life. i just woke up ive been sleeping since noon. the only time ive gotten up was to talk to jodster at like 5
Do you work? if you are close to your manager, you can ask your manager to write you a note saying that you have to drive for your work and if you present that to the Drivers licence issue office, you get a temporary licence that you can only drive on hours before midnight I think or certain hours while your licence is suspended. that's what my buddy did when he got his licence suspended
So how does it work if you fight it. So you wait for a court date and get your full licence and get more points. Then what happens? So you have more points, does that mean you don't lose it? ie more points to spare which means you won't go into the negitive? Also can you say you'll fight it, wait get your licence and then can you decide to pay for it? I ask this cause it will say on your ticket how fast your going. If the cop shows up can they turn around and charge you for the full speed you were going?
they cant charge you for full speed. Police officer shows up, he will fight for the speed that he wrote it on the ticket. he cant really say oh, he was doing more then it is on the ticket!. and yes you can pay for it afterwords and the judge will even lower the cost when you go in to court, say you plea guilty and with explanation, he or she will lower the costs but not the points. but if you have G2, had a ticket which makes -1 points, you can go get G before paying for the ticket and you wont go negative, thats what I did.
