Rep Power: 329 Mission : Lower the sedans, Accomplished
Objective : to install the goldline springs on my car. and to modify my XBOX.
Date : next weekend (sat/sunday)
Place: we could use my driveway, but i have no tools, and it might be a bit far for people, so if anyone wants to do it somewhere else then so be it.
Weapons : Air tools, a compressor, lots of tools, jacks and jack stands.
Personel required : Freddy must come to do the XBOX, juliene jeremy and jim are the suspension experts so one or more of them must be present, and everyone else.
Now please tell me if i need to get some extra tools that people dont have, also what is the best time for everyone. and what i will need afterwards (allignment ?)
suggestions welcome
Edit:above mission is complete, second mission is being done on johns car, no success yet

Rep Power: 294 yes u will need an alignmetn, and i can help you....i did my suspension myself (coilovers) so i can help you out if u like! Im no expert, but its a pretty straight forward install. yes airtools will be very helpfull! I have a tool to take the front tie rod out without hammering it, and thats the only special tool u need. Maybe a torque wrench to torque everything back down, but its not 100% necessary. Other than that ur good to go. Unlss ur getting a camber kit, but its not 100% necessary either. Let me know whut u need. As always im down to do installs...i love em!

Rep Power: 269 So .. if you guys are installing next weekend, means none of you are leaning towards going to the BBQ meet?
Curious as I can flip either way - true my cousins did have their birthdays in August, but I never really see them anyways (plus they 10+ years younger).. Or maybe I should try and see if any of the installers can throw in a rear sway and endlinks (as the first mechanic that put in the rear lower tie bar ran into issues)..

Rep Power: 329 Sorry guys, i wont be able to make it to the BBQ, money is very very tight, (with school and ****) and dont know if i can even afford the allignment afterwards.
anyways, if u guys are going, we can make this happen on Sunday instead of Saturday, that way freddy and eric wont have to miss out, or we can push it to next week.
As long as landin is there with a few extrea helping hands, i know this wont take us long.

Rep Power: 329 Ok change of plan.
Considering that my alternator is focked, and i am driving with no electrical parts online and being very carefull, its a bad idea to do anything before i take it to the dealership, which is on tuesday.
also considering next weekend is luskville, and then autocross, and mike will be outta town, here is the deal.
Saturday, september 25the will do this, everyone tell me if u r avaialble that day and what time.
thanks doods

Rep Power: 291 Yeah Ill have something to install afterall. Well not really. I have to re-rotate my wheels because my front wheels (used to be rears) are feathered..... due to camber in the rear. Landin you wont want my rubber dude, Im gonna get new ones in the spring. my steering wheel shakes like the booty in a Ludacris video, so if i put them back on the rear, the shaking will stop. Whitehalf you might wanna keep an eye on the rear tires seeing as how you have the same ones as me.
