ok...here's my possible dilema. My car may not be back until 7am tomorrow morning. The painter found a few pinholes in the rear lip that he didn't like so he's doing it over again. It's in the works now and then they have to bake it. Given the weather he doesn't really want to run it down the highway today which is understandable. So worst case is that Jerry brings it from Pembrooke at 5am on his way to Ottawa and it's here and waiting at 7am.

So I would have to get my rental back for 7:30 earliest and then get them to drive me to the shop for my car. Then I gotta motor to Kanata to get the camera and then to Frisby Kanata to get my front tires balanced.
I haven't figured out what I'm gonna do about detailing yet.

Anyway....I should still be there on time but I was wondering....

why do we need to leave so early? It's not gonna take that long to get where we're going. I know exactly where it is as I go there all the time.

I would think as long as we make it there by 5 we're cool. I have to meet my mom at 6 just down the road from the hotel for dinner at Fairview mall (Moxies). Good place to eat if anyone wants to tag along.

Anyway - just my $0.02 but I need a little time. If I beg I might be able to run my car into Goldwing in the morning for a quick work up.


Anyway - either way we're meeting at the Tim's by the tunnel I assume. Seems to be a good central point for everyone.

actually, Norek and I might leave earlier, we want to check out Pac Mall and stuff and we don't want to be caught in the Toronto traffic. We're still trying to plan this but we'd like to leave earlier if possible, you guys can meet up with us at the hotel no problem! Are you guys ok with that?

11am -meet at timies, make sure eveything is good
11:30 - start moving
4:30 - Ariive there check in......
5:00, whoever want, head out to pac mall, mike head to dinner with your mother, everyone will have till 9 (when everything closes) to do what they want to do.


Freddy, u dont need to go early to catch pacmall, plus on friday, traffis on the 401 doesnt build up till after 4, and in TO, traffic only starts around 5 when people r going home.

Make this a team thing and head down together guy.

Well I don't really care as long as you guys get your **** together so everyone makes it out of here.

If I have to go alone I will since I know where the hotel is and I have plans anyway before the 9pm meet. But you guys need to remember not to rush everyone in the door when you check in. They're not to know how many are ACTUALLY staying in each room. Don't Fu(k it up.

Either way...I think my car will at the shop when I get there at 7:30am. So that should give me time to run to Kanata and get my camera and get the tires balanced. Then off to Goldwing for a quick detailing job. should be done by 11:00 latest.

It's not gonna take that long to get there. I would guess that if we only stop once, we'll be at the hotel by 3:30. We probably can't check in until 3 anyway. That will give anyone who wants to head to Pac Mall plenty of time.

Anyway...just my $0.02 but like Abe says...Nobody get's left behind.

1 more thing..are we bringing lawn chairs? If so does someone have a extra they can bring? Mine are at Jeremys and I was just there and forgot them and don't feel like driving out there again.

no telling them there are 4 per room is NOT ok. The reservation was for 2 people per room. If you say 4 they jack the rate up by almost $40 a room per night. So 6 people check in and the others go in once the rooms are checked into and so on. If they know you have that many people they'll charge you way more.

the plan originally was for 11, and 30 minutes isn't that much more.

but freddy just wants to stop at the pac mall on the way up, this will prevent him from delaying the whole group i think.

and once we arrive in markham, i have to drive another hour out to drop **** off somewhere with marie-eve. then i have to drive an hour back... argh. so what i'm planning on doing is getting to the hotel first, check all the rooms in, leave the keys with freddy, karyn and prolly drop my car and paul off with freddy so i can go run the erands.

i would much rather drive up with the group, but i do need to run those erands and a time was already commited, and having freddy come up at the same time, i just realised is perfect so that i can leave the keys so everyone can get to the hotel when they arrive.

also, this way, it will look like 5 of us are checking in, which is perfect.
