Congratulations Liljoe
On Tuesday May 11 Julian came in first (for the 2nd year) in Spacebridges annual CF grand prix semi-finals. He know goes on to the finals which is June 6th. So I am inviting everyone to come out to Karters corners on that day. It's pretty cool, he gets to drive REALLY fast go-carts and hopefully he does just aswell as he did last year. Anyone who would like to make a donation to the Cystic Fybrosis Foundation(not to sure if I spelled that right) would be great. Just give us the money by May 21st. This is an annual race to raise funds for that charity. Any donation over $10 gets a tax reciept. If you can't make a donation just comming out and cheering him on would be great to.
CONGRATULATIONS JULIAN (LILJOE AKA LILSLOW)

They have new karts at Top Karting. They are really cool. I was drifting like a m*therfu(ker!! We have to get out there sometime.
The day of the race is a normal race day, so there are a lot of cool races. I REALLY want to try the Rotax class (2-strokes). They are amazing!

What is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common, fatal, inherited disease. It occurs when an unborn child inherits two copies of the defective CF gene, one from each parent.
CF attacks and destroys the lungs and digestive systems making it difficult to breathe and digest nutrients from food.
As the disease progresses, recurrent bouts of infection cause severe and irreversible damage to the lungs and other vital organs.
CF kills more children and young adults than any other inherited disease.
Facts about Cystic Fibrosis:
One in every twenty Canadians is a carrier of the recessive gene responsible for causing CF. "Once you discover it is in your family tree, it can "pop up" anywhere in future family generations. Problem is most Canadians have no idea they are carriers of the defective gene."
CF occurs in approximately one in every 2,500 live births in Canada and the USA.
There are approximately 1,000 new cases of CF diagnosed each year in North America. Diagnosis is usually made by the age of 3.
There are approximately 3,000 children, adolescents and young adults currently living in Canada, that have CF.
Finding a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis:
The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF) was formed in the 1960s. At this time, a child born with CF was given a 50% chance to live long enough to start school.
Since the Canadian discovery of the defective gene responsible for causing CF in 1989, life expectancy is improving. Today, children born with CF can hope to live into their thirties, provided they strictly follow their daily treatment program.
A cure or control for CF is the ultimate objective of the CF Foundation. The challenge is to find the funds to sustain the research required to meet this goal.

There should be some pictures up there very soon.
The Kart I drove belonged to the G.M. from Dow Honda. It was pretty cool. I'm half seriously thinking about buying one. It really is a LOT better than the ones at Top Karting
