New Idea...
Ok, here's the background...
My cousin's g/f's brother has a shop in Toronto. I just finished doing a web banner for him since he's finally putting up a website. His shop deals almost entirely in Air Ride suspension setups and I.C.E.
There might be an opportunity to partner up with him and build a side of the business that deals with the performance end.
His shop has been pretty strong for the last 4 years or so, I'm not worried about that. I think I can actually do this while staying in Ottawa and basically doing my business over the phone and making the odd extra trip to TO.
This would be kinda cool as I've always wanted to try this and as an extra bonus I would have endless hook-ups for parts...lol. From what I've seen in Toronto, the market there can support itself over the winter months as there's enough money floating around.
needless to say, I'm investigating this very seriously and just wanted your opinions.

^^^agreed....that would definately be a fun thing to try...i mean even if it doesnt work out you're not tied down to it...for you it would be a lil something on the side...very good idea!! Id do it if it was me!!! hahaha good luck!!
Id say go for it. But there are a few things you have to look out for.
1. Toronto and the GTA area have alot of shops so prices have to be competitive.
2. Advertising mosts business' in TO that don't advertise alot go under.
3. Loyal Customers keep your customers happy they will bring more business
Lastly if you run specials or GB's on WEBSITES cough cough 7thgen you will get alot of business. Also alot of people are cheap and will look on the net b4 an actual shop
PS how much for air ride?

Don't know how much for air ride yet, I didn't ask. Would be neat if you're into that sorta thing.
He has a good following in TO and that's one of the main reasons I'm interested. His prices are very competitive and probably the best asset is his amount of contacts. I've never seen such a huge list!
