So, I ordered the rims I wanted
15" enkei RP-F1 (9.5lbs)
They're the lightest/cheapest/strongest that I could find (that fit all three of those requirements).
So, now to save up for some tires
oh, and yes, these are just for racing...not for street use. I'm gonna plop on 225/45/15 Kumho V700's for solo2/solo1.
I also paid $200USD to get them shipped via fedex (2-3 days) instead of UPS ground ($60USD)...I hate ups.
god i hate ups.

hehehe my plan is that i will use my all seasons for solo next year, and wear the **** outta them and get winters next winter and then new rims and tires the next summer.
anyways, i think it would be a good idea if he acctually join the MCO, it would be cheaper for us if we compete in the 8 events.
if we can get, jim, pharoh, me, and as much people as we can to compete in these solo events, it would be so amazing. you know one thing those events are missing is music. so much fun, damn i miss summer already.

macrossranma: I paid $189USD per wheel, and I paid a LOT for shipping.
i paid a lot for shipping for two reasons:
1) I REALLY hate UPS. they are bastards, so I went with fedex
2) For the fedex, I had an option to get the stuff fast, so I went with it.
so, I paid $200USD for the shipping
so the total was $960USD. I'm sure I'll get nailed with duty, but no worries.
oh yeah, and yup, a few guys from this forum also come out and hit the solo2 events, or at least will next season. like I said, I'll hit TO for an event or two, and you can come up to ottawa for one.
then again, we don't have anything like the pac mall so I wouldn't blame you for not coming
hehehe
now to save up for some bitchin tires!

thanks!
what's the price? if they can score the wheels for less than $190 per tire, I'm game.
PM me.
I thikn I might go with the kuhmo V700's, cuz they come in the profile I want (225/45/15). the 225/50/15's will definitely rub
