i have a 2003 Rsx Type S (K20A2) for sale. the engine is still in my car. Comes complete with the harness/tranny/clutch/flywheel/ECU/Mounts and most of all CUSCO LSD. The motor has about 46500 kms on it This is a COMPLETE Swap.

K20a2-Acura Rsx Type S has 11.0:1 compression and 2 liters of displacement. The Type S is rated at 200hp at 7,400 and 142 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. This motor also comes with a 6 speed transmission with CUSCO LSD. It has the same VTEC mechanism as the older B series motors but with the addition of VTC.

Located in the GTA asking for $4500 CND.

k i went to hasports website and saw there that the mounts were in the 600 range... i believe that is US if im correct.

since you are not providing the mounts that were in your car, would you be able to adjust the price accordingly?

Please do correct me if I'm wrong, I fell off the swap wagon a few months ago - but isn't 4500 Canadian without mounts but with LSD a GOOD deal? I wish I had the money - this swap has been burning into my mind for a year....

i can provide you with my RSX mounts, but i can't do much on the price coz the LSD is put in no long ago and it cost almost 2k with labour. the engine is excellent condition, sythenic oil change every 3500-4500km, transmission is smooth as butter.

have you changed tranny fluid and if yes what type...
also is there final drive?
and mostly there is really nothing i can do with yor rsx mounts i need the HAsports mounts inorder to put the engine in...so tell me what you can do for me...!! i know this is a good price but its like what aequitas said we thought it came with the mounts as well..

sorry the price is pretty much firm. coz most of the Type S engine go for 3800-4000, and they evenually sell for that price and they don't come with mounts either. now with 500-700 more you get CUSCO LSD and saves you labour to put on. i'm really at the border line of selling the engine, and i think the price is reasonable. please shoot me any questions if you have. thank you!

i have ask them to give me a quote, but becuase your car is 5speed and the rsx is 5speed transmission. have to get the 6 adapter, and other stuff like linkage, etc. they will give me a quote tomorrow, if not monday. i'll keep you posted.

Those who are thinking swaps...there are parts that you still need that J66 may not provide.

RSX subframe, he'll still need his
powersteering lines, same deal
GSR Axles
Shifter assembly and cables
Wire adapter harnesses, or you'll have to trace and rewire everything individually like mine!
Key has to match immobilizer and ECU
SIR radiator
Install should cost you around $1000-$1500

$4500 is a good deal, but just remember all the additional things you'll need to get this done. Ask either me or ming if you have questions.

including this motor, you better have a budget of $7000-$8000

but the price for the motor is fairly good...
J66, would you consider taking out the LSD, i need one....
or would you install the cusco into your dc5 tranny and sell me the type-r one?

hi, i haven't got my garage to get me the price today. for sure i'll get the price tomorrow, but for sure it wont be 7000, coz i know someone did it and is only 6000 something, but his engine was like 4k. but i'll make sure, will have answer on monday. thank you for waiting. i'll keep you posted.
