I'm hearing it should be closer to 400-450 but no one I've asked can tell me where.

yeah the deal on torontocivics is pretty good
also includes 24 hr monitoring and no monthly charge. Audio Heaven is in richmond hill and from what ive heard, they do great work

Spoke to Jeff at Audio Heaven this morning; $525 + tax for the alarm + starter

so that's $603.75

Sound Theory quoted me $650 tax in. but they're about 15min from me

the one on toronto civic club is just the alarm (2wfm-a) the alarm+starter is the 2wfm-as

plus i think thats a generic price, for 01+ you need a by pass because our keys have a chip for security purposes

Yeah He told me the same price I thought he was ripping me off. I guess not cause it said $420 for the alarm but I guess that price was for 2001 and prior casue of the immobilizer. Is the starter really necessary?? Yeah I know cause of winter and all but I just use my extra key and warm the car up like that (el cheapo way).

no the starter is not necessary, that's why they sell it as alarm w/o starter, starter w/o alarm and alarm+starter. I just want the alarm+starter combo.

IS your car standard trans? If so you need a clutch bypass plus their is a factory imoblizer on our cars, the price sounds fair to me, especially if it is in fact a standard car and your getting that price quoted for alarm/keyless/starter
