For those who ordered Hayame coilovers from UrbanImport, I just spoke with Michael this afternoon and I was given "Thursday of next week" (May 27) as the expected shipping date. Just passing on the info as told to me.

You've KINDA got it right. If you drop with just springs, your stock shocks will wear out faster than normal. You're kinda gambling, it could be a year, could be a couple months. If you go with a full coilover set, then the shocks that come with it are built to take the lower drop, hence won't blow as fast.
Either way, nobody gets hurt. Just your car.

Telly - hope to see you at the next meet. I've pretty much set up my Hayames to where I want them, 2.5" drop in the front and about a 2 1/4" drop out back. Looks sweet - handling is out of this world. Let me know when you install them, I can lend a hand if need be.

That would be great dude. I'm getting them installed at a shop - I think I told you about my evil rear uppser strut bar...I'll let THEM worry about it. As for adjusting and whatnot, your guidance would be appreciated. Hey, can you quell some of my fears about the whole "noisy coilover" bit? I know they're noisier than stock, but do your Hayames make scary clunking noises at all? I'm most troubled by the reports of a noisy REAR.
