how much are they brand new in stores?
i don't think these ones are marketed in canada,
u can only get am and fm in canada ,,,,,,,,,,,
from what i know ,,, fm works with 450mhz but ss works on 900mhz,
the difference is like a reg. cordless phone as to 900mhz phone..

it does,,,,work anywhere, just not marketed in canada, but the company ,,,cause more expensive,,,, also plus, the pager also has vibe aleart unlike the fm, only has audio.

The FCC allows compustars parent company, firsttech, to put out several times the wattage with this setup. These code hopping transmitters allow for multiple transmitters to operate on the same frequency, so they are less succeptiple to interference ( this is why they are allowed to have several times the output of conventional trasnsmitters!)
