i always had hope to go to canada and i did so last month, im in the navy and we pulled into victoria for a few days. I was really excited, but when i got there, i was hanging out with some black doods from the ship, im white and i just noticed that everyone up there was *******s to the black doods, whats the deal with that?
im just curious since i have never seen anything like that before being from Southern California were all pretty laid back on that kinda stuff.
Everyone noticed so it wasent just me.
Anyways not to **** people off but it was kinda upseting and spoiled my view of canada i hope not forever.
can anyone explain it ??

err.. I don't think that everyone here would be doing that. The majority of the people here are great. You probably went to the wrong side of the city or a place where that **** happens. There are places where people only want certain types.. But everyone else is cool with everyone else. Sorry to hear that you guys had a bad experience. Hope your next visit is a pleasant one.

i hope so, all i know is i hooked up with some drunk **** in the bushes down by the naval base, that made my trip worth while haha OH and lucky lager force 8 i love that stuff, wish we had it here

don't let those ppl turn you off canada just like everywhere else there are a few *******s.....but rem you went to victoria and that is kind of a retirement area (everyone from bc calm down i know not everyone retires and lives in victoria)...

you have to visit T.O. and e-town cow-town and vancouver and even winnepeg to see color lots of small town only have white folk

lol i went to buy my car in a place called wetaskiwin and everyone was looking at us (me and my dad) we were the only colored ppl in the whole town and that is like a hour drive out of edmonton

it the same in america i mean we were in colorado and i swear in that entire state ppl had never seen west indian ppl lol....there are lots of places in america where there are only white ppl you just happen to come from a really diverse place

people who live in victoria are filthy rich and as a result, they are all stuck up pigs, well not all but maybe half. i've seen some jamaican dudes in victoria and some black dudes and i don't think they had any problem with people at all. even me, being an asian, i've always had some awesome experiences in victoria walking down govt street and stuff.

another possibility i thought would be because of the canadian against the war thing, so being in the navy and pulled into the harbour with the ship may cause some disturbance and gave people excuse to **** around with you guys.
