***Terry's Private Auto-x day DATE CHANGED Sat. Sept 17th***
*** UPDATE: Due to some unfortunate circumstances beyond my control, the date of my private auto-x day has been changed to:
Saturday Sept 17th
I was originally confirmed for the date of August 27th, but the auto-x clubs want to run their 2 day weekend on the 27th. They originally planned to only have it on one day, but they are now forced to make it 2 days again.
Hopefully everyone can still make it, I would still like to see everyone out! If you cannot attend and have paid, no problem - your payments will be refunded in full. Those that paid via Paypal will be refunded via Paypal (I will cover the service charges). Those that paid at a meet, I will make arrangements for a refund with you directly.
Hopefully this is a positive and not a minus, and that more people (up to the 35 driver limit) will make it out. This will be a great auto-x day with many runs, and prizes at the end of the day.

OK, it's confirmed. For all the people that want to get out and get more runs, this is your chance! The main goal of this event is to ensure a high number of runs for those who:
- never get the chance
- use up 3 runs trying to remember the course
- want to try out different techniques on the same day
- just wanna get some more track time for practice
- want to try out auto-x in a non-competitive environment
- newbies who need help (experienced drivers will help you, just ask)
Here's the details:
Saturday, Sept 17th at Boundary Bay PTEC lot
Gate opens at 7:30am
Cost $40
PRE-PAYMENT ONLY, NO refunds - see below
*I have to pay for this event in ADVANCE, so I cannot pay up front for anyone, you must sign up and pay in advance. *No at the gate entry*
- 3 run groups
- Maximum driver cap of 35 drivers
- Minimum of 10 runs (probably more)
- Loaner helmets avail. Bring a Snell 95 or later helmet if you have one
- Everyone that drives, works the course
- Lunch: bring your own lunch or go during your non-driving or non-working run. We will not take time off for lunch
- Everyone pitches in to help work the course / clean up. This makes for a smoother day for everyone.
Here's how to pay in advance / register:
Option A: Pay in advance via Paypal the $40 fee to tchui@ea.com Please include the following info in the detail / notes section of your Paypal payment:
Name:
Club Affiliation (so we know who's from where):
Club User name:
Address:
Phone #:
Car make / model / color / year:
BCMA or VCMC barcode: please state YES or NO
Option B: there will be a signup meet this Sunday July 24th 12pm - 12:30pm at Central Park in the parking lot, Boundary entrance near the swimming pool. You can pay and sign up there. If you can't make it, I will arrange another sign up day or you can contact me via PM / U2U.
This is not a club exclusive event, so if you want in - you gotta sign up fast. Again, the sign up fee must be paid in ADVANCE (all costs must be covered), and the deadline for signup is Aug 17th.
I'll need some volunteers to help setup and run the event, so if you wanna learn how an event is run, let me know.
