If you like Shopping goto Metropolis at Metrotown. Its pretty big.

Get a Bubble Tea

A tourist attraction (there aren't a lot here) is the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Not my kinda thing but if you want to walk across a long wobbly bridge feel free to.
http://www.capbridge.com/

The city of Richmond is cool cause its like 90% Asian populated, so check out like food and stuff there. Aberdeen Mall is a pretty cool asian mall but there isn't much to buy. The architecture is pretty neat.

Again in Richmond, there's a giant Night Market kinda fair. Its pretty huge and jam packed with people. Fri, Sat and Sun nights I think but I dont know when they stop. Might be late August. Theres like a ton of people and many little shops/booths.

Rent a Canoe at Deer Lake

2 best cultural spots in town are Granville Island and Commercial Drive. Granville Island is a former steal mill/industry centre turned into an artsy/fishmarket place. If you like the show 'whos line is it anyway' check out theatresports in Granville Island. Improv comedy at its best. Their shows are really good. I swear just because its live makes it 100x funnier than the tv show.

Commercial Drive has awesome food. Its basically a street with a bunch of restaurants and corner stores. I swear you can walk in any restaurant there and have the meal of your life. Its basically a street filled with Italians, Portuguese ect. where they open up their family restaurant and hang out. Nice people everywhere.

Burnaby Mountain (where Simon Fraser University is located) has an awesome sunset from the top of the mountain where a restaurant/mini park is located. They have Totem Poles if you're into that kinda stuff. http://www.horizonsrestaurant.com Don't eat there. Expensive. But just so you know where it's located

Check out Downtown too. Robson Street is the crown jewel with lots of retail. Chinatown and Gastown are within the general area of Downtown. Stay away from Chinatown. Its dirty. I laugh everytime I drive by and see tourists with cameras waiting to cross the road with a few drug addicts. Gastowns got the historic preservation thing going on but its kinda boring and not truly historic. Theres a steamclock.

If you want to go in the mountains, seeing as I dont think there is any white stuff left, Grouse Mountain is only a 20 min drive from the city. Theres a lift all the way up but seeing as theres no snow theres really no point unless you want some thinner air
