Spring/summer meet?
Well I posted this here the other day but I guess it didn't make it through.
Who here is up for a meet in the next couple months? I am sure everybody has added a ton of new stuff to their car since last year or over the winter, so let's get out and show it off a bit.
Post here if you are interested in coming and maybe where you think would be a good idea for a cruise and we can start to get the ball rolling

Rep Power: 295 Hey Mega......I can get at least 2 7th gens to show + me I'm also planning on meeting up wwith bamboo when me and major mal go over to the island this summer.
The island has way better roads to rip around on for sure but its over a hundred buck just for the ferries.......but I'm over lots in the summer anyways.

Rep Power: 381 come on think about it, when you have a meet in vancouver with just a few civics, you don't have much to show; howerver, here on the island everyone is so damned poor, one civic ripping by a geo metro would make their jaws drop not to mention 5 nice civics in a row. ok maybe not this drastic but you'll have more fun on the island.
a few advantages on the island:
- wayyy better roads, long and ALMOST no potholes.
- nicer views
- new attractions for those of you who have never came to the island before
- less people so it's less crowded everywhere you go
- a lot more outdoor spaces
sound tempting yet lol

There's some sweet places to meet too. I say we meet up in Parksville (just north of Nanaimo), at Rathtrevor beach or Parkville beach. Perfect spot for a meet and a BBQ.

i do agree the island will be better for a meet. Vancouver meet is boring. we'll get VI in no time, but damn over a 100 bux...
i say after June. Weather looks pretty shitty right now, plus my rims are not here yet.

Rep Power: 786 i like the idea of an island meet becuase if some money nad some time is involved, only the serious few, the diehards will go and we don't have to worry about stragglers

we can cruise up or down to either victoria or qualicum beach (a nice place to take pictures). driving down highway in a sunny day would be pretty damn awesome.
some of the island guys that i will try to round up: bamb00, ikieininiy, mrad55, 7grev and they might be able to round up some more.
anyone has a digi camcorder?

you can always set one up on Aug or something, i think this summer is gonna last.

august isn't bad... aug 28 I believe I have an important show in the okanagan... but we cna work on another day........
okay lets do it like this... everybody interested give a range of dates taht you are willing/able to make it, and specific dates or ranges of dates where you CAN NOT make it and we will go by that and hopefully set a final date in a few days
