Window Tint
Hey everyone,
I am finally going to get my windows tinted this weekend. I am getting the all 5 windows done. So what I wanted to know was what % tint should I use. I want a dark look (kinda like what you see on BMW's that have all 5 tinted), but I don't want to run into problems with the police!
Can you guys let me know what you used, and if you have pictures that show how dark it is that would be very much appreciated. I am probably going to get it done tomorrow.
Cheers

Randy,
On the back 3 you can get them tinted as dark as you want. On the side ones your not aloud (legally) to have anykind of tint at all. Just get them done and when ever you see a cop roll down your windows...

That's kinda the plan! But I don't want them so dark I can't see out them at night. I might go with a lighter grade all the way around, but still making it look tinted.

Tinting
Well if you want your windows tinted, I would suggest the guy that I used. He was great. The name of his company is Ozone Layer tinting, his name is Cesar. Off the top of my head I don't have the number, I'll post it with some pics of my car tinted tonight when I get home from work.
I went with a 20% tint all around (5 windows). It looks sweet in my opinion. It is not too dark that I can't see out, but dark enough that all you can see is a silouette.
Cesar uses Sungard film, and offers a lifetime warranty on his film. The best part about him, is he comes to you. You make an appointment with him and he'll come to your house to do the tinting. It cost me $180.00 for all 5 windows.

go to shades in port moody i did all my windows 20% all around...with diamond window tint..its the elite class from sun guard..umm it was a bit more expensive tho...200 dollars for five windows (lifetime warranty and all that stuff)..however u have to do it at the shop...
ps..i also got the no fault lifetime warranty which is 50 bucks more...basically if the cops pull u over.. shades will take the tint off and put it back on for free
