Who here likes to go fishing? If you do, any places you know of that may be hot spots this year?

I mostly fish for Walleye. A hell of a lot more fun than fishing for Trout. Pikes are fun too, but the damn bastards love to fight...

In any case, if you know, anywhere in Alberta is fine w/ me....

It's also about knowing their behavior, feeding patterns, where they like to go... etc...

I haven't been fishing in so long I probably wouldn't be able to help you out, but I'd sure be interested in finding out where some of the hot spots are. Thinking of breaking out the fishing gear this year and going a few times just to get out of the city and away from everything, even if it is only for a weekend.

Hasse Lake out near Stony Plain isn't a bad spot. I used to catch trout in there no problem. They stock the lake too.
