Question Compustar Alarm/Starter

Hey everybody...I'm new here, I bought a 04 Civic se back in June and have been browsing these forums ever since.

I have a question though, I figure its time to put an alarm and starter in my car and was wondering about prices...
I've talked to A&B Sound, for for 2005 model for a standard and chipped key it was going to be 630 plus taxes and JB's quoted 700.

Anyways I heard some places were doing them for under 600, not sure the exact price. Anybody know a good place(s) in Edmotnon to phone and check prices??

Thanks for you help in advance

-Rich

Whoa, this thread has been dead for a while.

Ironically enough I was looking at Compustar alarms today, I can't comment much on the starter, but I called Deciabals and they quoted me a $299 and $399 (2000ft and 5000ft. range respectively) installed.

White Remote still Beeps and Vibrates, you dont have an option to turn off the beep, but hey this does help if you have your keys in your pocket and your in a noisy area where you wont normally hear your remote. Anyways i got the new one for my 2004 Si-G and its Great.

I think over 600 is too much for a compustar alarm/starter. the new vibrating one is known to have problems, but some ppl are lucky and had no problems. i'm using the blue one and its been perfect so far. i paid $400 (tax in) w/trunk pop. so shop around before you buy.
