Polk MM6's

I'm possibly selling these because they do not fit my civic. I paid $260US for these any they haven't even been used. Although the installer shaved down the siding of one of the tweeters. 50/50 will know soon if i want to sell them.

do you know where they installed them? I went to visions and the guy there couldn't fit them in. the magnets are over 3 inches deep. BTW i got mine at soundomain.com it was around $260US then add $35CDN for customs.

The guy that did the install, worked at Futureshop, before that he was at Certified Radio, Auto Temp and Visions.

I know him personally he has been and installer for over 7 years. Unfortunately he is not doing installs anymore. Went on to something different.

You might need some custom work, such as custom spacers just enough so the window can still open and you can still fit the panel/grill.

The tweeter might be a bit harder, if you have a Si with factory tweets since the pod is so shallow. However if you look at the pod you will see a piece of plastic, you can cut that plastic off therefore making more room for your tweeters to fit in. The only problem is you tweeters will move around so you will have to epoxy the edges of the tweets to the inner edge of the pod.

As for the door speaker try shaving off some of the plastic on the grill.

Trust me man, these speakers can and will fit. You just have to do some minor custom work.

I would suggest that you do the install yourself, it will save you money and you will feel better about it.

If you know how to take the door panel off you are set, search the site. This site has a diy somewhere, it is very helpful.

oh i took it off already it's just that i don't have the material for making spacers or a jig saw to cut out a bigger hole. you know what's weird though the guy got the tweeter to fit fine. that's fuked up stoopid lazy ****. thanks for the help. i think i'm gonna try jb's. they're exspensive but i think they'll probably do it.

You should try Decibels before JB's.

They are on the south side, they do really good work.

Prices are probally better then JB's.

I am not sure what the exact address is, the phone book is where I found when my friend needed some work done to his Integra.

Found out some good news. There's a sheath over the magnet that can be removed by breaking off the plastic label on the back of the mid driver. It'll give me an extra 1/4" so if i run into any problems that can be a possible solution.

Yes they're in. the *** at visions does not know what he's doing. do not go to the south side visions he also ran my rca's along my power wire which = engine noise. what a retard! JB's had no problems fitting them in.
