Car Washes

Here's another fun topic:

Everyone seems to have a favorite car wash spot (or two) in the city. Where are some of everyone's favorite "secret" car washes?

a) Best indoor drying area?
b) Shortest line-ups?
c) Cheapest?
d) Late-nite / 24 hr.?
e) Northside / southside / westend / eastside?
f) Automatic / wand wash?
g) Best water pressure?
h) Most ghetto car wash?

Spring is coming - no excuses - Gotta stay clean!

Winter Hughes, costs me only $3 minimal wait times (depending on conditions and times)

Summer My driveway, costs are the water bill, the pressure washer, towels, soap, washmitt and powerwaxer. All these goods pay for themselves over time, except for the water bill.

(1) DELTA CAR WASH..!!!!- For best features... filtered water rinse... and ****in' high water pressure..!!

(2) Shell on Calgary trail.. - Smells like crap.. no line ups.. but best place to take your time drying your car (big heaters overhead to help your car dry quick too.

(3) For a QUICKIE.. Riverbend Husky... not a hand wash its laser... the only bad thing is all the rich ppl in Riverbend are lined up to wash their beamers and benz's...

(4) When i'm down town.. need a quick rinse.. Hughs by china town.. kinda ghetto w./ their mini wands but whatever...

(5) when i'm on the west side has to be esso on 149... weird way to pay but best place on the west side... hand wash... minimal wait..

(6)when i'm at the BUX on Calgary trail... chapters.. i go to husky hand wash.. OPEN 24 HRS.,.... best place for a late nite rinse..

(7) time for ghetto.. when i'm broke.. some soap a sponze and the hose.. on my drive way.. Your welcome to visit.. $20 a wash..!

I like washing it at a carwash best and then taking it home and waxing it on the driveway, at least in the summer, get the nice glossy sheen on it...the kind I haven't seen in months because of this damn snow.

Rainbow car wash - Yellowhead and fort road.
Very cool idea. Can pay by coin or credit card. Shampoo machine for your carpets. Lots of bays. Reasonable prices too. Definitely one of the best car washes I've ever been to. And that is a lot.
