Last Friday (3rd) - Whyte
So, i was doing my community service/volunteering bit on Whyte last friday, patrolling with the EPS (who raped me with a laser radar ticket earlier that night, ****!) Anyway some of your cars caught a bit of attention in the parking lot around 80th Ave or so? I know Lawrence's car was there, parked on the end (looks good with the rims btw)...i think maybe Jae and Will (couple black coupes, it was dark) and the guy with the silver coupe w/kit, sorry buddy, forgot your name....
Anyway, nothing really to worry about, but the 7thgencivic club IS a radar blip on the screen of the Old Strathcona Police Station. Convo went something like this:
Cop: "Gotta watch those young guys and their fancy cars, always racing around and killing themselves."
Me: "Oh yeah?"
Cop: "Yeah...there are enough people dead on whyte these days" (another 2 people got hit that night...NOT by street racing, or even a modified car of any sort for that matter...
lease: )
Me: "I actually know these guys. They're a pretty decent crew, not your typical Fast and Furious punks..."
Cop: "...you know these guys?"
Me: "Yeah man, you don't have to worry about them, they're cool. We just like our cars...if we want to race them we take them to Auto-X or the track...not the street..."
So just keep it easy on Whyte bros.
If they get a grudge against you they can mess your life up hardcore. Honestly, they have people who sit in unmarked cars in parking lots watching people - you wouldn't believe how many eyes are watching you on that street. If they suspect you of something or just dislike your presence, they'll wait for you to make a minor mistake so they can radio it to a patrol cop who will pull you over and rape you with charges.
Peace!

Wow - I can't believe that we garner that kind of attention. I guess that we should all be really careful driving around in our happy little civics. All we were doing was enjoying a nice meal at Buddy and some bubble tea at Dream Tea. Those cops should be on the lookout for fast european cars with turbo tearing upthe roads...
By the way, Silver with the sweet body kit is Dennis.

Yeah, i totally agree. The thing is, the general public is so uninformed that they expect the show car to be a go car because it "looks" fast. Consequently the police carry the approval of with the public when they pull guys like us over. Also, we're a way easier target for cops, especially when we park in visible groups and have club stickers on.
ShaolinII: It's not so much the civics that garner attention as the group of civics...especially if they're modified. I think cops aren't used to having friends, therefore when they see a group of people who are obviously together, they assume it must be a gang of potential criminals plotting their next dirty deed.
