installing taillights.

installing taillights.

I am having trouble removing the two corner taillights on an 04 sedan. If anyone has instructions on ow to remove them, i would really appreciate it.

there are screws on the bottom of the taillight. you can reach under the bumper to get to them ( i did) but it's tough. otherwise you remove the bumper.

Thanks...but the new taillights dont have any screws at the bottom...why's that?

dunno why. but neither did mine. you don't need them, they are redundant. i didn't put the screws back in when i returned to stock and that caused no problems.

other key with tail lights is don't touch the bulbs. they aren't halogen, there shouldn't be problems i thought. but there will be if you touch them... i blew 3 of 4 and spending 12 bucks because you were ill informed isn't cool

what about the lights on the trunk lids? how do i get those out?

those are 3 screws. remove the 3 and the light comes right off

the screw was redundant, but they were still stuck in there pretty tough.... i chipped the corner of one whne i ripped it out.... they're tough little buggers

yah, when i replaced the tail lights, all the light bulbs were like gone.. and my PIAA headlight too!!
