Ohio Sucks A Little Less!!!
this is old news technically, but from matt talking about trying to get a doctors note, i guess no one knew! i was trying to see if a doctors note legally would exempt me from the tint law, when i found this:
Ohio Changes Auto Tint Law
As of April 8, 2004, the back windshields (including rear passenger sidelites and backlites) of cars in Ohio may be tinted to the discretion of the vehicle owner. Under the changed law, driver and front passenger side door windows can be tinted up to 50 percent light reduction; any windows further back on the car may be as dark as the owner wishes, provided the car is equipped with two side-view mirrors (one on each front door) so that drivers can see the road behind them. The front windshield must remain at 30 percent.
woohoo!
i might get the fronts tinted w/ 50% now too!

50% film times 75% OEM light reduction = 37.5%
so fairly dark, but cop can see a difference. i have a family friend that might get me a note still, if i go 20 or 25 like the rear and sides are.
front plates were almost gone damn it, but the bill didn't go through ever... grrrr.
tint will be around 150-200, from what i've found. get a good reference for a place. i've had people ask me (at random places) since it can be tough to get it done, right, cheap. tint darkness doesn;t effect cost.

as soon as a cop gets shot from a car with tint, i bet this will go away. but until then i'll enjoy. in some suburbs they care, some they don't. where i work the cops have lightmeters in the cars, so....

If anyone wants my pricing on window tint $115/coupes no tax + free bottle of cleaner, let me know. I have a sponsor that has been doing all my cars since 1996, and been around the Akron area for over 40 years. It's worth the 45 minute drive from Cleveland IMO.
Same thing with rims. $975 for a set of 18's with Kumho tires.

I had a truck that had tint 35%, this was a few years ago. I one year I got 6 tickets for it, $108 each. Around here they are real ****** about that. They have no other means of income iguess.

I believe it's a 1 year warranty.
You'll have to call them to make sure though.
We have a better rim deal, with our other advertiser. Prices will be lower than what I already posted. So continue checking our site for cheaper deals.
