What ELSE is going on... Moving on from the last thread, that was 60 pages....... so since i'm taking in my car tommorrow, should i reset my ECU? or leave it. considering cuz my tranny sucks, it'll go upto 7200 rpm before shifting, and from my excessive speeds today. i dont have any clue if the honda techs can see that kind of info but you know, just wondering.

got damn its cold out side. its sapossed to be like 5 tonight. i need to wash my car to kirk but its pointless right now in the cold. also never fails that when i wash my car the next day it snows or rains. lets see if we can all be nice and keep this one open longer than 60 pages

Rep Power: 0 ya i know i have all that salt crap...i dont even think its salt its that chemical crap the city uses to melt the salt, some synthetic stuff its all over my car, like a fine powder streaked across it. i hate winter.

Rep Power: 287 ^yeah i hear what your saying its all grimy and nasty. wow i got really bored adn seeing that our great thread got locked it made me think how many threads in the ohio section have been locked since the begging. well i counted twice got 9 once and 10 the second time. im not bored enought to count one more time so if you want to really know count them yourself.

take the negative cable off for like 30 minutes. or more. there are capacitors in the ECU that will hold power and could keep a "memory" of what happened. but valve float or something along those lines from high revving damage should be pretty evident.

Rep Power: 0 reset ecu this morning. took car in, and THUS FAR have not recieved any crap for my mods. i'm pleased so far but i'm looking forward to hear wut they ahve to say about my car and the transmission. the tech took it out for a drive, didnt 'feel' the steering problem, but he did note the transmission is the issue.

i couldn't believe i had ANOTHER PHUCKING BIRD in my house this morning. and this time it was a starling, significantly bigger than a sparrow. thing was down in my kitchen, smacking it's head into the window. i opened the front door, bum rushed the kitchen screaming and throwing **** at the bird to force it out into the living room. it worked, bird was out maybe 90 seconds after i found it. i'm getting too good at this...

Rep Power: 305 i don't know how it got in. still haven't figured out. the last bird i did, there was a small (seriously no more than an inch) gap in the inside of our attic, where the bird knocked out the piece we had covering it up to get in. but this bird was like 3 times the size of a sparrow. i'm loading up the paintball gun if this happens again. or sick the cat on it

Rep Power: 0 got my car back from the dealer...washed that wuz nice. all free! warranty gotta love it. i had a bad shift linkage and they ordered a brand new transmission for me. it'll be in mon or tuesday. they were really good to work with i was happy. they even liked my blacked out headlights. ahha.

and for those who ride in a rsx and then think the civic is slow, i had the same thing happen. rode in a the guy's cybernation stage 1 turboed RSX! damn that thing had *****.

Rep Power: 487 is today national rice day? i swear, i ran into more ricers trying to race me on the way home from slick then i have ever before. i did take up a couple people who had to be put in place such as a monte carlo and older jetta. own3d them. i somehow got own3d by a neon though? WTF mate? it was on the onramp for 480E coming from 77S. we started to race and he pulled on me like a **** through the turn. i couldnt go too fast or i wouldnt be able to safely make the turn. i had to hard break at one point because i was going too fast in the turn. i caught up to him then he pulled on me again? WTF. i swear, i dont think it was a srt-4 because it didnt have the rainbow wing, but i dont know. still though, how the f did he pull so far ahead of me in the turn? if anyone knows the turn i am talking about, it is like a 270 degree onramp that you can safely go around 50 on.
